Today's daily update is that there's no real update to the physical work on the project. Kind of an offday, with an art history class and a public speaking class through the morning and afternoon.
I do have some random bits of design ideas bouncing around in the gray matter though, so that counts as some kind of work. I'm really happy with the two new interiors (livery and sheriff's office), as well as some of the additional deco stuff I've been able to strew around town.
The livery is in need of a little more deco itself. There's little more in the barn/stable area than a couple 6 poly hay bales up in the loft. Still need to do the anvil and blacksmith's tools, and probably some water troughs for inside the stalls. An ox cart somewhere in town would probably be a nice touch, as well.
Additionally, the wise and powerful Professor Jim keeps reminding me that the saloons need spittoons, so that's on the list as well.
Sensei Mikkel has also mentioned that he feels some of the landmark buildings, specifically the Mayor's house, might be a little under-detailed. Things like that I also need (and intend) to address in the coming week.
There should be lots of work to report on tomorrow. For now I'm going to enjoy a book, a little dinner, and maybe pop a Western in the Blu Ray player. Be back tomorrow with more good stuffs.
